Participating in our digital celebration requires registration.

Favor de responder a la invitación a nuestra celebración digital para registrar.

We’ll be using the webcast platform Zoom to broadcast our ceremony and interact with our guests afterward. In order to participate, you’ll need to register — this is to prevent the digital version of “wedding crashers” from interrupting our good time! Only registered participants will be able to log into the broadcast on 5/10/20. Once you have registered and one of us has approved your registration, you’ll receive personalized instructions to log in, either via your laptop, smartphone/tablet, or (audio only) dial-in.

Usamos Zoom para que nuestros familiares pueden participar en nuestra boda de cualquiera distancia. Solo los registrados puedan participar el 10 de Mayo. Los registrados pueden participar por computadora, celular, o tableta.

A Quick Start Guide to Using Zoom

Joining a Zoom “meeting” is easy and free. You can participate from your computer, from a smartphone or tablet, or by dialing in with your cellphone or landline (audio only). As long as your device is turned on and not muted, other participants will be able to hear you, and you’ll be able to hear them too. If you have a webcam or camera on your device, you can participate in the meeting face-to-face. Important: If you’ve never used Zoom before, we encourage you to practice using it before 5/10/20. (See the test link below.)

When we approve your registration for our wedding, you’ll get an email invitation that contains a lot of log-in codes. The first thing you see, however, will be a URL (it will look something like http://zoom.us/#!@$%&#).

  • To join the webcast from your computer, smartphone, or tablet, click that link anytime after 3:30 PM (CDT) on 5/10/20. Your computer/device will ask if you want to “download and run Zoom” or “install the Zoom app.” If you want to do this, go for it! (It’s free.) If not, just click “join from your browser” to open the meeting directly in your favorite web browser.

Want to practice this, as well as check your microphone and camera?
    Try it out right here:

  • To test your custom link and make sure it works, use it to log into our Zoom Practice Session one week before the wedding - Sunday, 5/3/20 from 6-8 PM CDT (7-9 PM EDT).

  • To join the webcast from your flip phone or landline (audio only), dial one of the numbers at the bottom of the invitation email. Zoom will provide both toll-free and local versions of the dial-in number for you. (We don’t encourage doing it this way, however, as you’ll miss most of the fun!)

  • Zoom offers extensive how-to instructions on their website. If you need more help, contact either Angel or Chris (NOT on 5/10/20), and we’ll gladly help get you up and running!
