Let Us Hear from You!
When we were planning our wedding ceremony, one of the things we got MOST excited about was the music we wanted to include in our celebration. We have so many talented friends, and the original plan involved seven instruments, a 20-voice choir, and a sing-along opening.
Needless to say, having a virtual celebration has required some adjustments…but we are still really excited about giving everyone a chance to raise their voices. Fortunately, we’ve figured out a way to do it remotely! Here’s how YOU (and your family, friends, neighborhood children, and pets) can be part of our wedding choir between now and May 1. No talent required!
Take out your smartphone, and open your favorite voice recorder app. (On an iPhone, Voice Memos or Garageband are good choices. Sorry, we don’t know Android phones!)
On your computer or tablet, click on the video link below, and record yourself (and your family, friends, etc.) singing along with Kermit. (For best results, use headphones to listen to the video, or keep the Kermit’s volume low when you’re recording. And sing loud!)
Optional: if you like to sing in parts, or you want some music to read, click here for an in-key SATB arrangement of this song! Improvised parts (vocal or instrumental) are also welcome!
When you’re done, email your audio file to Chris at cskrable@gmail.com or upload it to this Dropbox page on or before May 1, and then listen for yourself in our wedding choir!
