Let’s face it: these days, we all need opportunities to gather and celebrate.

And so even though 2020 isn’t going to let us have the wedding we imagined, we’ve decided to keep our (awesome) wedding date and exchange our vows at 4 PM CDT on 5/10/20 as planned.

Does this mean you can’t join us? HELL-to-the-NO! We’re going to bring our private ceremony right to you, wherever you are, via a live interactive webcast (Zoom). And we’ve come up with some ways everyone can participate directly: by singing in our virtual choir, dressing up for the occasion, even sharing a specialty cocktail!

Our Story

Finding love, MAKING A home, & doing SOME good

We met in Chicago in late summer of 2017 - both in our 40’s, both contentedly single. We started smiling the minute our eyes locked (five minutes before we snapped this selfie), and haven’t stopped since. Maybe that’s because we make each other better.

Chicago

Angel proposed in fall 2018, just before we ran the Chicago Marathon together on behalf of Team to End AIDS (T2) and Mother and Child Alliance (MACA), formerly the Pediatric AIDS Chicago Prevention Initiative (PACPI). We continue to support both organizations, and try to do more good wherever we can.

Puerto Rico

In the Fall of 2018, we traveled together to Puerto Rico, and fell in love again…this time, with the dream of building a second home there for ourselves and our loved ones. One year later, we purchased a beautiful house on top of a tranquil mountain near the town of San Sebastián. We hope to share it with you sometime.
